The Web Log as an Alembic

When the ‘web log’ first began, it was literally a list of links that the web user logged as a way of keeping track of the important websites they’d uncovered that day.

Content mining was a visceral experience, and retreading the research of another web log creator provided insights into connections and emergent creative juxtapositions.

My goal here is to bring back a little bit of that old-time magic.
